Sunset Cliffs San Diego | Couples session

I knew this session was going to be amazing when Sierra said her and Gunner were down for a shoot at the beach! Sunset Cliffs San Diego is so incredible! I mean, that backdrop?! You can’t beat it! I knew from the get go that this Sunset Cliffs session was going to be full of adventure and laughter.

Sierra + Gunner won our giveaway for a free photoshoot! Niko Navarro Films and I had never done a giveaway before, but after this great experience, we definitely will again soon! When we met them at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego, we felt like we had known them both for years! We found an area down low closer to the water that was so cool! It required some hiking downhill and sliding down a cliff, so I am so happy they were down to do it! The weather was so warm and perfect for the beach.

These two are so happy together that you can tell just how much they love and care for one another. They could not keep their hands off of each other the whole time. Funny thing is, Sierra and Gunner told us that they have never taken professional photos before. Honestly, I would have never known because they were so natural in front of the camera! They were constantly enjoying the time they spent with one another. It was like Niko and I weren’t even there.

It truly is my favorite part of photographing couples. Each couple is so unique. Their love is different. The way a couple speaks love to one another is going to look different each and every time. This is the best because although we may be using similar prompts and poses, each couple photographs differently. I am so honored every time a couple invites Niko Navarro Films and I into their space and document their love. This is exactly why we genuinely love doing what we do.
