I wanted to switch things up a bit for this blog post. 🙂 Jenna wrote me the sweetest love story and I wanted to share it along with their photos and video. Just a quick story – their love began at the location for their western-themed wedding at a venue in Norco, CA at Lunde Show Horses.
Our first date was the next week he took me to Lunde Show Horses where he boarded his horses and learned to team rope. We went on a trail ride that day. We had our wedding back where we went on our first date, Lunde Show Horses. This is also the place where Tyler and I spend almost every night roping with our friends. Our dear friend and trainer, Jerry Lunde, married us under his oak tree. Jerry has been a part of our relationship since the first date and has been a part of our lives every day since. Jerry (and his wife Shelley) taught both Tyler and me how to rope and are the reason we are so successful with our roping.Â
When Shelley presented me with that horse during the wedding that was one of her own personal rope horses named, Roland, who also happens to be brothers with my horse Dusty. Tyler secretly put money towards him as a wedding gift for me. Now Roland is at home with his brother, Dusty, in our backyard. The wooden ring box that I have, Tyler made for me, and then he proposed up in Mammoth Lakes. The necklace I was wearing was my grandma’s. She passed away last year. She wore that necklace every day. This truly was a beautiful day for a western-themed wedding in Norco.
