From the initial phone call with James and Christine, we connected with them right away. We knew right away that capturing their day was going to be a breeze. They spent their Santa Barbara courthouse garden wedding with their closest friends and family. Christine and James began the day getting ready at a mansion in Santa Barbara. The whole getting ready experience was laid back and you could see the happiness radiating off of everyone.
After the getting ready shots, the couple had an intimate first look at the Airbnb. Shortly after we all headed to the courthouse for their ceremony. The couple chose the garden location for their ceremony at the Santa Barbara courthouse. James and Christine included the closest people to them to join on their wedding day. Their wedding ceremony at the Santa Barbara courthouse had the perfect weather and lighting. We were fortunate enough to capture the most incredible portraits with clear skies. The couple mentioned to us how important colors of their photos were to them. They wanted a timeless feel with natural editing, which is right up our alley. We photographed them at the courthouse and then headed to the beach for a few more shots and private vows.
