Kaila + Jacob are such a special couple! We took photos of them for the first time a few years ago in Malibu. They had just started dating. Jacob reached out when he was ready to propose to Kaila, and now the rest is history. He chose the Red Rock Canyon for his surprise proposal. This location is close to their family and they have had photos taken here before. He orchestrated the whole event, sending Kaila on a scavenger hunt. He even chose her entire outfit for the day. The scavenger hunt ended with Kaila finding Jacob taped to a sign. The entire Red Rock Canyon surprise proposal was so creative and we are so grateful they chose us to document it. She said yes!!!
Red Rock Canyon is in the Mojave Desert, just outside of Las Vegas. The park has a 13-mile scenic drive and several different hiking trails. Red Rocks is one of our favorite photo locations because it’s a short drive from Vegas. It’s the perfect location for an outdoor session with a desert landscape. Plus, the colors of the rocks look just like you are in Sedona, AZ!
