Yvette chose this location for their couples session at California Citrus State Park in Riverside, Ca. The palm trees make for an incredible backdrop and supply the most beautiful colors and composition. I love shooting at the California citrus state park so naturally I could not wait for this session! My husband Niko and Kyle have been friends since they were kids! It is so fun getting to hang out with them and we had the best time together.
Kyle and Yvette are good friends of ours so of course we had the most fun during this shoot!! It gave us the opportunity to try new prompts! Kyle and Yvette were the happiest campers and I seriously adore that the most. They trusted me to shoot photos of them when I first began a career in photography and that means the world to me. It is crazy looking back at that photo session and seeing how far I have come!!
They coincide with one another like no other and had so much fun. Their neutral outfit colors complimented this location so well! They were able to freely be themselves during our time together and the photos definitely show that. I was able to capture their goofy side as well as a more romantic one! I can’t wait until we are shooting their engagement and wedding photos 😉 Love these two so much. Niko Navarro films shot their featured film and incorporated so much movement that it looks amazing! Check it out below!
“Huge shoutout to Niko and Michelle!!!! I am so awkward when it comes to taking pictures and they did such an amazing job at making it light hearted and comfortable! There’s SO many beautiful photos that I can’t wait to share. Go check them out!!!!”

[…] I have so much to say about this Citrus Park photoshoot in Riverside, CA! It honestly is so beautiful and unique for taking photos. We have couples and families all the time requesting this location and I do not blame them! The location reminds me of something out of a movie. If you are thinking of a location for an upcoming photoshoot, this is the best! The palm trees give the location a cool vibe, and the colors are also vibrant and beautiful. During the summer months, they are a darker muted green, and during winter they are a warmer yellow. Check out a winter example here! […]
