El Matador is by far our favorite beach to shoot at in Malibu, California. Niko and I are so excited to share another beautiful engagement photoshoot at El Matador State Beach in Malibu! The water is always so clear and beautiful and on this day especially were clear and beautiful skies. We have been dying to go back to this beach for a photoshoot and Rebecca and Nick made our dreams come true. They traveled from Texas to shoot this engagement! THE LOCATION
As soon as you park your car you are overlooking a beautiful cliff view of the entire ocean. A short walk down some sandy stairs (again with amazing views) you are welcomed to the sand clustered with high cliffs. One of my favorite lighting scenarios is to capture the sun setting through the rocks.
From this amazing couple to the gorgeous location, this engagement session was one for the books. I love a good opportunity to capture couples in love in SoCal; this one was incredible. I can’t wait until the next time I have the opportunity to do a photoshoot on El Matador Beach, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking of shooting there! Rebecca and Nick were also the absolute sweetest so what could be better?
