This was our first time shooting at Lake Oak Meadows for this couples session. Niko and I were super excited because we have a few weddings here later in 2023. Teresa and Emil are having a vow renewal later this week that we are working! The wish upon a wedding foundation granted them this event due to their unfortunate circumstances. Teresa was diagnosed with stage four cancer. Niko and I were excited to donate our time and work to give back. The foundation is a non-profit that grants weddings and vow renewals to those in life-altering circumstances. They take away the financial burden that couples in these situations face so that they can focus on treatment. This is the perfect opportunity for this couple to have all of their closest friends and family together in one place.
We are so grateful for the opportunity to work with them and cannot wait to share more from their vow renewal this Thursday. It is going to be at a beautiful wedding venue in Claremont, California. We also are grateful that Lake Oak Meadows allowed us to use their property for Teresa + Emil’s couples session.
